"Lost&Found" invites visitors to consider how art relates to issues of self and community and what it means to look at 'loss' from many different perspectives. Lost&Found weaves together a narrative of artworks presented in chronological order, addressing how the passage of time, taking the shape of lost ethereal things, affects the passage of time.
This arrangement explores the concept of losing your identity, freedom, and relationships, which are abstract bodies that I value the most. Through my artworks, I try to convey these themes by using recurring symbols of flow and contrast to emphasize the stark differences between the past and the present. Often referencing my own experiences, my work explores varying perspectives that reflect the many global issues we are currently facing today.
I aim to create artworks that are very personal yet, that the public can still be able to resonate with: Lost&Found aims to ensure those who feel the same way will be able to find some parts of themselves in my artworks and, eventually, will feel less lonely.
